07 NCAC 04P .0108           STAFF MANUSCRIPTS

When manuscripts are needed or editorial projects planned for which no author has submitted acceptable material, the professional staff of the Historical Publications Section shall do the needed work or contract for the services of a qualified historian or other competent authority.  Such manuscripts shall be reviewed as are any others.
